ABSTRACT
Chapter 8 presents regression models that are useful in epidemiology. Examples of some elementary models were introduced in early chapters and included simple linear and multivariate models where the dependent variable has a normal distribution or is binary. Also presented were models for survival, which included the Weibull and Cox models. The main focus of this chapter will be on models that generalize the models introduced in earlier chapters.
