ABSTRACT
The evolution we have witnessed in the past fifty years in electronics, optics, smart materials, biotechnology, and in all the fields using these technologies has been relentless. Although we see no signs of having reached a plateau, we know that a physical limit to progress lies somewhere. While the ceiling appeared to be approaching in many fields like electronics, engineers found ways to circumvent. However, that does not change the reality that physical limitations exist.
