ABSTRACT
Large amounts of steel structures in road and railway infrastructure, mining, transportation, and recreation industries are subjected to fatigue loading. There is potential to apply fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) to strengthen ageing metallic structures to extend their fatigue life. Some field applications are given in Chapter 1.
