ABSTRACT
Various technological processes result in the emission of toxic gases into the atmosphere. These gases are classified as toxic industrial compounds (TICs), and eff orts are made to decrease/eliminate their presence in air. Besides causing detrimental environmental changes such as acid rains, photochemical smog, and global warming [1, 2], these gases can also cause a direct threat to human health when they are released as a result of terrorists actions.
