ABSTRACT
This important chapter will address what the current scientific data are as they relate to one of the major climate drivers and manifestations: temperature. It is important to realize that the temperature increases forecast from the increasing CO2 in the atmosphere must be mitigated in order to achieve a heat balance and physical equilibrium and lead to sustainability.
