ABSTRACT

The different boxes can be characterized by the position of the point P and by the fold width. Naturally, when the fold width becomes larger, the bottom square becomes smaller. Thus when the point P is at the center of each side, one can make a cube. If we rotate the bottom square relative to the other folds, a twist box can be formed. If another point P is taken, a different type of twist box with different height and twist angle is constructed. So various twist boxes can be formed by the present procedure. In a special case, the boxes can be completely folded flat.
