ABSTRACT
In order to talk about how to use graphs to color origami polyhedra, we will need to describe graphs, polyhedra, and what we mean by coloring. I am writing with an origami audience in mind, though I do hope that someone not very familiar with origami objects will be able to follow along and delve further into these topics with the references provided. My intent is to give some sense of the mathematical ideas that underlie the coloring problems I will be presenting rather than to give rigorous definitions of mathematical terms. I will begin by discussing the connection between polyhedra and certain origami objects.
