ABSTRACT
Austral Patagonia, which also has big reserves of sub-bituminous coal; there are good hydraulic resources in exploitation, especially in the south of the country, and tremendous solar irradiation through the clear skies of the north deserts. Many land points along the coast-multiple places in mountains and valleys as well the vast steppes in southern Patagonia-show promise as interesting locations to use the wind energy.
