ABSTRACT
In sharp contrast to its neighbouring countries, Denmark and Germany, wind energy development in Sweden had a short promising start in the late 1970s followed by a long lean period. In the past 10 years more efforts were made and, in 2013, the future prospects seem to be more promising.
