ABSTRACT
In this chapter we expose readers to the foundation and logic of the leading ethical schools of thought. Each school is constructed of different logic, and it is important that one be familiar with each. We urge readers to explore each school with an open mind and consider each of the main postulates. The essence of this chapter is to provide basic points of each school in an attempt to foster critical thinking. In other words, as you review the foundation of each school, ask yourself these questions: Where do I stand? Do I agree with the information contained in this school of thought? If I were on the receiving end of someone’s actions, representing each of the different schools, how would I feel?
