ABSTRACT
Introduction Special regulatory areas in healthcare can address a wide array of issues, most of which are at the statutory level. This chapter covers several regulatory areas and provides guidance on the kinds of issues you may want to include in your organization’s CBR compliance plan. Fully exploring each of these issues is difficult because of the level of detail involved and because the issues change over time. The choice of topics is somewhat generic and not intended to cover all subjects in every situation. You may work in a specialized area that presents unusual concerns and may need to add or amend topics accordingly.
