ABSTRACT
Mathematical modeling is a procedure in which a system of mathematical equations is developed to simulate the behavior of a physical system. The procedure usually includes a method to solve the resulting equations. Engineering mathematics refers to the mathematical tools that engineers use to solve the equations derived during modeling. Engineering mathematics is a subset of applied mathematics.
