ABSTRACT

Water shortages, water pollution, flood disasters, aging water infrastructures as well as the increasing demand forwater, and other problems associatedwithwater resources are becomingmore devastating and the need for disaster planning andmanagement is growing.The rapid osculation of these problems has the gravest effects on developing countries. Therefore, water disaster of a higher magnitude can affect everyone with rapid expansion of water sectors and inadequate institutional and infrastructural setups. The developed societies are also becoming more vulnerable due to their high dependence on water.
