ABSTRACT
It is no secret that many statistical calculations are now performed with spreadsheets or packaged programs. This statement is particularly true with regression analysis. The result of this approach has been to often reduce or eliminate one’s fundamental understanding of this subject. This chapter attempts to correct this shortcoming.
