ABSTRACT
In the previous three chapters we have been concerned with the relationship between a single continuous variable and one or more categorical variables. Thus, in Chapter 5 we asked whether the number of spiders in a quadrat (continuous) differed depending on whether we sowed wildflower seed (categorical). In this chapter we consider what to do when we have two quantitative variables that we think might be related to one another.
