Regression Models for Randomized Complete Block, Latin Squares, and Graeco-Latin Square Designs

In the first section of Chapter 5, we discussed the design and analysis of the responses of the randomized complete block design (RCBD). We analyzed the responses of this design using classical models; we also wrote SAS programs for the analysis of the responses of RCBD experiments based on that model. In this section, we develop a regression model for the RCBD. The use of regression models to represent the responses of designed experiments was briefly discussed in the introductory parts of this book. We had used regression to model the responses of the typical completely randomized design (CRD). For the RCBD, we intend to use regression models based on both effects and reference cell coding methods.
