Officer Brandon Griffith’s Story I have been a small town cop my entire life. When I started, we had four sworn officers, including the chief. Nearly 25 years later, we had grown to only seven patrol officers, one captain, and the chief. I considered many times over the years the idea of moving to the big city-more action, more money, the kind of policing you see on TV. But every time I got close to making the move, the pull of family, friends, church, and knowing everyone in town kept me grounded right where I am today.
