Detective Jake Ballard’s Story I got a call at home from my sergeant very early one morning asking me to help with an investigation into a multiple homicide that had occurred overnight. I worked property crimes, so I asked how I could help. He simply wanted all the detectives to hit the street and start pushing on our sources for information.
