ABSTRACT

This is component 2 because it is the next part or step of fast pace which must be in place. The value stream flows must be clear and intuitive for everyone and even the new people just starting with the company. The process must be designed in such a way to be conducive to continuous flow and low work in progress (WIP). Lead time is a differentiator for your customers, and process design is the principal contributor. To understand where the organization is in terms of achievement pace, the value streams must be visual. This visual management will facilitate the support required by the leaders. For this component I discuss several different methods to having your products or services moving through process steps faster and with quality assurance.
