ABSTRACT

The relationship between law and society is more fully appreciated when we possess a sound understanding about the social organization of law. The legal process is inherently involved with authority and cannot be easily separated from the institutions that execute it. Dynamic associations take place between legislating, interpreting, and enforcing the law. The functioning of law is a process whereby some people render decisions about the law, others are responsible to carry out the law, and all are expected to obey the law.
