ABSTRACT

Besides the Boolean model (Bm), the “Dead Leaves” model (DLm) is a fundamental and well-investigated model of stochastic geometry. It has two modifications, which are the “covered DLm” (random tessellations of the space) (see Section 6.1) and the “uncovered DLm” (tightly packed hard particles) (see Section 6.2). Both modifications have practical relevance.
