ABSTRACT

A registered environmental assessor in California was conducting onsite training for eight new members of his firm. He had everything planned out. The previous week he delivered the initial training in the classroom. For the onsite training, they were to practice how to conduct an environmental assessment of a piece of land intended to be purchased by one of the firm’s clients for construction of an industrial complex. He already performed the “real” assessment and had all the handouts, including history of the site, from the project for illustration. Everything sounded like a perfect plan.
