ABSTRACT
An informal survey of Fourier analysis is presented here to motivate practical applications in electromagnetic interference (EMI), even though this topic is too vast for this chapter to do it proper justice. In particular, the subject matter is presented to provide insight into the origin of harmonics, transients, and methods to suppress harmonics in high-speed digital circuits.
