ABSTRACT
Transmission line theory is the study of electromagnetic waves propagating between two or more distinct conductors. The model is obtained by the judicious application of Maxwell’s equations. It is typically derived via discrete circuit elements. The purpose here is to demonstrate how circuit theory is derived from field theory.
