ABSTRACT
The adverse effects of ovarian stimulation may be divided into immediate problems, such as drug-specic side effects; the consequences of overstimulation of the ovaries, such as multiple pregnancy and the ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS); and long-term problems, such as the possible risk of ovarian cancer.
