All businesses have a number of individuals who enter the workplace for various reasons. They may be clients, patients, sales representatives, family members, groups, students, vendors, and other business representatives. Employers assume a certain amount of liability for individuals who enter their work area or facility. Employers are also responsible for the safety and health of these visitors or clients.
