As you read this, be very aware that what is covered in this chapter is most assuredly happening today in the United States. And such information collection will continue in the years to come. China uses any method possible to collect information, including the old tried-and-true methods that have been identified in the past, as well as creative measures1-3 that may take years to come to fruition.
