ABSTRACT
The role of intelligence in combating terrorism is critical. In the counterterrorism fight, it comes from several directions. First, intelligence comes from a nation’s intelligence agencies. Much of what they get they collect directly or obtain through intelligence-sharing agreements with other countries. Diplomacy is very important in intelligence as good relations with an ally, combined with a willingness to share your own information, can yield great results.
