ABSTRACT
Risk Assessment Thevetia species are common garden plants in tropical and sub-tropical areas, and like oleander (Nerium oleander) are one of the more poisonous of plants that people and animals are exposed to. In some parts of the world, the fruits of Thevetia are used for suicidal purposes.6 Extracts from the leaves of the plant are also toxic to fish.7
