ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we present a systematic collection of examples and additional methods, which we nd useful, structured around different data types. For each data type, we present the most important null models and point-process models that are relevant in an ecological context. In contrast to Chapters 2 and 3, in which we only briey treated methods for some data types, such as multivariate and marked point patterns, we present here a more detailed and comprehensive description of methods that can be used to answer ecological questions related to the different data types.
