ABSTRACT
Chapter 3 covered the fundamental concepts and operations for multilinear subspace learning (MSL). We learned that a high-dimensional tensor can be projected directly to another tensor or vector of lower dimension through tensor-to-tensor projection (TTP) or tensor-to-vector projection (TVP), respectively. In this chapter, we formulate the general MSL framework and give an overview of this field.
