ABSTRACT
In this chapter, several measures of performances related to wireless communication system design will be defined, and mathematical methods for their evaluation will be presented. Capitalizing on the formal definitions of these measures, depending on evaluation complexity and analytical tractability of the obtained mathematical form, some of them will be presented in subsequent chapters for observed communication scenarios.
