ABSTRACT

In Chapter 4, guidelines for dispersion minimization were given. In the replicated study, we used the factor contribution technique to determine the main effects and the two-factor interaction effects that are important. In the unreplicated study, we used the Box-Meyer method to determine the main effects that are important. In this chapter, we will present two statistical techniques that are very useful for minimizing the response variability, the analysis of variance technique and the normal probability plot.
