INTRODUCTION Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are the fastest growing class of drugs in both human and veterinary medicine. This reflects their broad use as anti-inflammatories, analgesics, and antipyretics (Fig. 75). Perhaps this supports devoting a separate chapter to the subject.
