ABSTRACT
As described in Section 1.2, a foam fractionation unit consists of a foam layer that is situated on top of a bubble liquid layer. The hydrodynamics of the foam layer were described in Chapter 3, with consideration for bubble stability in the foam layer given in Chapter 4. In this chapter the hydrodynamics of the bubbly liquid layer are considered.
