ABSTRACT
The compilation of soil data within an extensive area is usually constrained by legacy data. Particular attention must be taken with data harmonisation. Laboratory procedures should be compatible enough to include the results in a single dataset. Another point to consider is the dynamism of the process to model. For highly dynamic soil properties (e.g., soil organic carbon) is sensible to use observations within its specific time frame.
