ABSTRACT
As for HiCr rolls, observations on rigs (Figures 15.1 and 15.2), and in plants (Hashimoto et al., 1995; Sanlippo et al., 2002) indicated that COF, generally, decreases with the cumulative rolled length. However, observations by Steinier et al. (1999) suggested the opposite trend, as well as those shown in Figure 14.4.
