ABSTRACT
This chapter is essentially an extension of the previous chapter in that it shows how basic physics helps in developing mathematical models and how basic calculus helps in solving the models. The chapter also shows a method to keep track of the equations and unknowns while developing models; we strongly advise the reader to use it. Objects in a gravitational field (gravity acting on objects) are the topic of this chapter.
