ABSTRACT
This chapter describes some example commercial data mining products and research prototypes, some of which have evolved into products. We group them into various categories as discussed in [CLIF96a]. As stated earlier, all of the information on these products has been obtained from published material as well as from vendor product literature. Since commercial technology is advancing rapidly, the status of these products as described here may not be current. Again, our purpose is to give an overview of what has been out there recently and not the technical details of these products.
