ABSTRACT
Renal disease is one of the major sequelae of common disorders such as diabetes and hypertension. Diabetes is the most common cause of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and accounts for nearly 44% of the new cases. About 54% of patients on kidney dialysis have diabetes.
