ABSTRACT
This chapter covers the structural design of concrete modules and addresses some of the important aspects related to the layout of the modules based on their structural performance. Relevant requirements for the design of reinforced concrete to BS EN 1992: Eurocode 2 are also presented. Issues related to the construction and installation of concrete modules are presented in Chapter 17, and they also affect the structural design of the modules.
