ABSTRACT
Services located within a module are installed in the factory, and the final service connections to the central services and drainage of the building are made on site. The vertical and horizontal distribution of services throughout the building is an important part of the design process. Service installation is time-consuming in traditional construction and is often on the critical path. In modular construction, a high proportion of the services in the building can be installed and tested off site.
