ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with microwave transistors used to generate and amplify microwave signals. These include bipolar junction transistors (BJTs), heterojunction bipolar transistors (HBTs), junction field effect transistors (JFETs), metal semiconductor field effect transistors (MESFETs), high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs) and metal-oxide-semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs), including CMOS.
