ABSTRACT
It is important to understand that the dimension of perishability varies for dierent types of farm produce, and that as these produce are processed, either the freshness of the produce or other original qualities of the produce may probably change. is in turn impacts the supply chain, depending on whether the consumption at the customer’s end is soon after harvest, without processing, or whether the converted product from the harvest is consumed after some form of processing.
