A country’s progress is often measured by how fast and eectively it can develop its infrastructure to help industries and businesses thrive, and also to ease the lives of the common people. OBJECTIVE e objective of this chapter is to understand the importance of infrastructure such as distribution centres, organized market, cold storages and communication networks in managing eciency in agribusiness supply chains. Issues covered include transportation networks; quality of roads; cold storages; organized markets with storages, communication network and training of personnel.
