ABSTRACT
Hasmukhbhai K. Nakum Hasmukhbhai came from a joint family which was involved in cold storage business since 1978. His uncle managed their family owned cold storage. During his school and college days, he used to observe the functions of the cold storage and learnt the
intricacies. He always had the interest of doing something on his own and becoming independent as early as possible. In 1985, their family started two cold storages at Jamkhambhalia and Jamnagar. During this time, Hasmukhbhai completed his intermediate in commerce and was pursuing Bachelors of Commerce. He got motivated by one of his uncles involved in diamond business and learned the basics of business. en he considered pursuing the family business actively, even by dropping out of college. He calculated the cost and benet of this decision and decided in favour of business. He dropped out of college and went to Ahmedabad in 1990.
