ABSTRACT
In this category of sex-related homicide, the offender’s primary intent is to rape or sodomize the victim. The offense may be heterosexual or homosexual depending on the circumstances of the crime. Usually the victims are females and young children, and the killer is a male. However, it is important to note that sex-related homicides involve homosexual as well as heterosexual relationships. Two aggressive homosexual serial killers named Walter Kelbach and Myron Lance were sadistic thrill killers. They would anally rape their male victims, who were not homosexual, because they enjoyed inflicting pain on their victims.
