ABSTRACT
Most of the front-end work in the segmentation process has now been completed. We are close to achieving the structure shown in Chart 7.1. Looking at Chart 7.2 we see that we have developed the Analyze phase and the Build phase. We are now ready to move forward with the Execute phase, which is the topic of this chapter. In the Execute phase, we are executing SCS against our database. The first two phases had us looking backward at history to see how segmentation would perform. In this phase, we are moving forward looking at the day-to-day performance of the segmentation structure. We are applying what we have constructed and validating its performance.
