ABSTRACT
This chapter will focus on several key concepts that are integral parts of using SCS in production or Supply Chain optimization. There is both Demand side segmentation as well as Supply side segmentation (see Chart 9.1). However, before we dive into a discussion of these concepts, let us retest our Planner Analytics skills. In Chart 9.2, we have buckets containing balls and we need to figure out how well the scheduling process works. Can you figure out how many balls are in each bucket?
