ABSTRACT
This last chapter is going to return us to the question of “Why Do Supply Chain Segmentation (SCS)?” (See Chart 11.1.) Up to this point, I have given the reader my personal perspective on the importance of SCS. I now want to incorporate an “industry perspective” on the important role of segmentation and some of the specific benefits it offers.
